Our mission is simple: we exist to help people struggling with family or emotional difficulties achieve a comfortable and productive lifestyle.
Most of us experience a major psychological or relationship problems in our lives. At the Counseling Center at Proctor Hospital, we have the expertise, compassion and empathy to help individuals gain insight and recover from these difficulties.
We are committed to utilizing the most effective evidence-based methods to assist our clients in achieving a healthy and productive life.

Staff/Treatment Team
The professional and caring staff are licensed therapists with years of expertise in assisting individuals with life problems. Therapists work with clients to develop individualized plans for care. Referrals are available for drug and alcohol assessments as well as psychiatric treatment.
Staff are available to speak to groups and organizations about stress and other life issues. Ongoing workshops are also provided at Proctor.
Location
The Counseling Center is located on the campus of Proctor Hospital. The building is located across the parking from the main Hospital entrance. The entrance to the Center faces (east) Knoxville.
