Proctor Hospital has been approved as an IDPH Region 2 Resource Hospital, #0279. The hospital's "Go-Live" date was October 1, 2011. Proctor Hospital EMS System is pleased to welcome 7+ agencies to our EMS program. Proctor Hospital is delighted to be an active participant in the prehospital care of this community and to provide an unmatched healthcare experience for each patient.
If you are unfamiliar with Proctor's Emergency Department come visit us and take a tour. The Department includes an expanded Chest Pain Center, patient observation rooms, rooms especially designed for pediatric patients, trauma room and biohazard/decontamination room. Easy access is provided from two of Peoria's main thoroughfares, North Knoxville Ave. and North Sheridan Rd.
The emergency physicians of EPSS, administration and staff of the Proctor Emergency Department all share the same mission and vision. It is a shared commitment to our patients who depend on our competence to care for them; a trust in each other that we are like family; and that as caregivers we consistently demonstrate a caring compassion. There is a difference in emergency service at Proctor and we want to share that experience with our pre-hospital provider partners. You can entrust your patients' care to us, with the knowledge that we share the same commitment to your patients that you do.
