Coronary Risk Profile
(Takes 10-15 minutes each person)
Venipuncture blood test that measures glucose, total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, triglycerides, blood pressure, height and weight, and provides an individualized heart health analysis. This screening is recommended for adults, especially those having a personal or family history of diabetes, elevated cholesterol levels, or heart attack/stroke. This test comes with an individualized report on how to improve your results. A 12-hour fast is recommended. (See guidelines for fasting.)
CBC & Comprehensive Metabolic
Profile
(Takes 5-10 minutes each person)
Venipuncture blood test that measures albumin, total protein, total cholesterol/HDL ratio, alkaline phosphate, calcium, cholesterol, triglycerides, HDL, LDL, glucose, sodium, potassium, chloride acid, C02, bilirubin, SGOT, BUN, and creatinine. This screening is recommended for adults and is a complete blood count used to diagnose anemia and infections. A 12-hour fast is recommended. (See guidelines for fasting.)
Lipid Profile
(Takes 5-10 minutes each person)
Venipuncture blood test that measures glucose, total cholesterol, HDL, LDL, and triglycerides. This screening is recommended for adults, especially those having a personal or family history of diabetes, elevated cholesterol levels, or heart attack/stroke. A 12-hour fast is recommended. Thyroid Testing
(Takes 5 minutes each person)
Includes free T4 and TSH levels. These blood tests can define whether the thyroid gland's hormone production is normal, overactive, or underactive. Helps your doctor tell the differences between pituitary and thyroid dysfunction. No food or drink restriction necessary, except to avoid shellfish.
Health Check
(Takes 5 minutes each person)
Fingerstick blood test measuring total cholesterol and glucose; in addition, height, weight, and blood pressure measurements are taken. This is recommended for any adult, especially those over the age of 40 and with a family history of elevated cholesterol, diabetes, or hypertension (elevated blood pressure). Fasting is recommended but not required for this screening.
Total Cholesterol
(Takes 5 minutes each person)
Fingerstick blood test measuring total cholesterol. This is recommended for adults, especially males over the age of 45 and for females over the age of 55. Also those with a family history of heart disease, smokers, those with high blood pressure, diabetes, or prior low HDL readings.
Glucose Screening
(Takes 2-3 minutes each person)
Fingerstick blood test measuring blood glucose (sugar) level. This is recommended yearly for those who have a family history of diabetes. Persons with a greater risk for diabetes are those who are over the age of 45, overweight, members of some ethnic groups, or pregnant females.
PSA Blood Test
(Takes 5 minutes each person)
Blood test to detect possibility of prostate cancer. This test is recommended for males annually starting at age 50. Testing should begin at age 45 for those at high risk (African Americans or those with a family history). Fasting is not required for this screening.
Osteoporosis Heel Screening
Test performed to determine bone mineral content as a predictor of bone loss in the spine. This screening is recommended for postmenopausal women or women 55 years of age or older. The incidence of disease increases with age.
Blood Pressure
Measures blood vessel resistance.
Body Composition Analysis
Identifies body fat percentage. The test is administered on the bare upper arm. Fasting is not required.
Pulmonary Lung Function
Helps to detect emphysema, asthma or other pulmonary problems. This screening is recommended for persons who smoke, have asthma, have emphysema in their family history or are exposed to fumes in the workplace.
Physiological Testing
An overall assessment of your metabolism, endurance, strength and fitness. A resting metabolic assessment can also be included if your goal is to lose weight. You will receive a personalized discussion of your test results and a one-on-one consultation with a fitness expert. Recommended for anyone looking to lose weight, get in shape or train for a competition. RMA more accurate when fasting.
Massage Therapy
Chair massage with relaxing music and candles provided by a massage therapist.

Free vision screening is available.
Confidential Addiction Assessment
A free confidential assessment interview for alcohol and/or drug, gambling, spending, sex, food and Internet addictions as well as chronic pain. Assessments are conducted by the Illinois Institute for Addiction Recovery at Proctor Hospital. Free informational sessions are also available at 1-800-522-3784 or 309/691-1055.
